The mission of the Florence County Economic Development team is to recruit, grow and expand a diversified business population providing broad and varied job opportunities while safeguarding the area's natural surroundings.

In a nutshell we facilitate job growth by:
  • Helping current businesses find resources/money to succeed and grow
  • Guiding new entrepreneurs to resources, business loans and site options
  • Attracting new businesses to grow a cluster or fill a local void
Location:
The Economic Development office is in the lower level Room 134 of the historic 1889 Florence County Courthouse on 501 Lake Ave, 1 block south of US 2 in downtown Florence.
