For over 100 years, the Florence County Fair has promoted the agricultural and natural resources of Florence County along with the domestic livestock, and related interests of Florence County residents and visitors accumulating with holding an annual County Fair.

Christmas in Florence
Each year, the Florence County Chamber of Commerce hosts Christmas in Florence at the Florence High School gym and cafeteria. This event includes vendors offering a large variety of unique hand-made arts and craft items as well as other gifts for sale to help you with your Christmas shopping. There are many activiites for kids. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be onsite and your children will love making free Christmas craft projects with our FHS TORPEDOS students. Delicious food items will be for sale in the cafeteria.

Keyes Peak Uphill Truck Drags
Keyes Peak host an annual side by side uphill truck drag race. Trucks from all around the country race each other in a double elimination format. Watch all types of stock and modified trucks, some with jacked up fuels. It's loud, aggressive and raises money for 3 great volunteer groups;  Keyes Peak Ski Hill Committee, Blue Ox Trail Riders and Florence Volunteer Fire Department.
